“…a fabric that sings of spring.”

I have to admit, there is very little floral fabric of any kind in my day to day life. I could have dipped into my fabric stash in the studio, but those neat stacks are tucked behind wardrobe doors, and I really don’t see them very often these days. So if I was going to dig, I chose a different place to do it: the back of the tea towel drawer. A little stack of aprons made by my great-grandmother in the early 1960’s hide out there. Too small for me to wear, but too cool to discard. This shot is of a pocket detail, taken by the kitchen window that serves to light the vast majority of my indoor shots.
