“No matter what they say, the grass is actually greener on our own side of the fence when we look through the goggles of gratitude.”

I have no yard of my own. No potted plant. Nothing. So if gratitude was to be the guide in shooting Spring grass, I decided to return to the park where I made the out of focus shot. Earlier this week I followed a tweet by Heber Vega to some photos of a park in Iraq. It is the only green space for 10,000 northern Iraqis. I forget sometimes how amazingly blessed I am to live where I do. No bombs fall. A beautiful fresh-water lake a short distance away. And many parks this apartment dweller can visit any time I want.
