This image is the product of a mistake. Even after listening to Matt Brandon’s recent podcast, where he mentioned ‘zeroing out’ your settings every morning, I neglected to do this. When I downloaded shots from a recent cottage trip, I found that my camera white balance was still set for florescent lighting, after making a few photos at work.

In this case though, I was happy with the mistake. The colours are not as they appeared to my eye that night. But I’m fine with that.
